Miss Green graduated from Manassas Industrial High School. In 1946, she was listed on the student roster at Storer College, established in 1867, in Harper’s Ferry, West Virginia. She received her BA degree from Storer.

Biography

Miss Ethel Mae Green was born in Hume, VA., on Feb. 3, 1927.  Her parents were George N. and Helen P. Anderson Green.   Miss Green graduated from Manassas Industrial High School. In 1946, she was listed on the student roster at Storer College, established in 1867, in Harper’s Ferry, West Virginia. She received her BA degree from Storer.

Mrs. Campbell enjoyed a 38-year teaching career in Fauquier County that included time at the Orlean, Central and Northwestern Elementary schools. She retired on June 12, 1987. Mrs. Ethel Green (Anderson) Campbell passed away Nov. 12, 1989, and was buried at the Trough Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, Crest Hill, Fauquier County, Va. At the time of her death, she was the widow of Albert B. Campbell (d.1981), and mother of daughter, Salika, and sons Wayne, Tony (d. 2019) and Rodney.
